Melissa Pando is Texas born; Hobbs New Mexico raised. Due to her strong religions background, she has spent most of her life working with people. She carries deep within her as a passion to see others succeed in life and is willing to help them visualize their success. Melissa is the daughter of immigrant parents who in their way have contributed to the community of Hobbs, both within their religious settings and in the entrepreneurial aspect. Her father initiated selling snow cones, to owning a dine in restaurant and drive thru with her mother. Finally, his last endeavor was a trucking business. Growing up seeing their ethics of hard work and integrity has definitely molded her.
Currently she is working with the young adult department of the church she is a member of. Recently she has taken 3 young adults under her wing to mentor them. Melissa also forms part of the music team there. In spring 2019, she and a group of seven more women co-authored and published a book on overcoming trauma and how that journey shaped them to be who they are today. At the moment, she is working on her next book project.
